– Made it through another month of Mt Storm games and practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mountain Storm season is moving right along. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently working on Spring events such as the Teen Silent Disco, Senior Easter Egg hunt with the library, and a new event called Yappy Hour. Geren’s and VCA have agreed to be part of this new event.  They will have lots of giveaways for the dogs, even a puppachino! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caroleana: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The month of February was full of planning.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caroleana had over 200\u00a0 senior related calls. \u00a0This month the center had 2 new MOW <\/strong>clients & 2 reassessments; which involves home visits with each client. \u00a0 Caroleana further offered and assisted each household with other available resources.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Energy Assistance – In February,\u00a0 the winter heating program for Clackamas County EA continued and we submitted 9\u00a0applications.\u00a0<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Mt. Hood Hospice presented the last class in the Grief series.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A lot of planning went into the March for Meals Campaign<\/strong>.  Caroleana finalized flyers, coordinated dinner donations for D31 Foundation, and finalized the Senior Dinner flyer. Also Caroleana went out and about town to get restaurant and cafe\u2019 partners to support the campaign.  Caroelana went to 18 businesses and was able to secure 6 restaurants<\/strong> to participate.  Also, Caroleana reached out to business partners to help make baskets to raffle for the fundraising campaign.  Embold bank, Mt. Hood Senior Solutions, Mt. Hood Adult Day Center, Prestige Cinema, Next Adventure, are all local businesses that are participating and supporting the fundraising efforts.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Started the planning for the Senior Resource Fair in May.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One important training<\/strong> that Caroleana participated in was the QPR Gatekeeper Training: Question. Persuade. Refer<\/em>.  The main topic for this training was suicide prevention.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
