Carol: <\/strong>
Working on sponsorships for Noah\u2019s Quest, Movies and Music, and 2nd year Yappy Hour. Finalizing Summer Recreation Guide by adding more science camps with Minds in Motion, and working to collaborate with Northwest Trails Alliance for some bike clinics at the new Basecamp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amy:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Continued to manage the Mt Storm Basketball League! Worked to make all practices and games run smoothly, despite bad weather and gym cancellations.
– Hosted the first Sandy Bee City USA Meeting for 2025.
– Submitted the Bee City USA Renewal Report<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caroleana: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caroleana had over 280 <\/strong>senior related calls this month. \u00a0 The center had 1 new meals on wheels client and 2 Reassessments for current <\/strong>clients; which involved a home visit with each client and a completed NAPIS form for Clackamas County.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caroleana helped support our team by packing coolers several times throughout the month and delivering several routes for the Meals on Wheels program.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She continued to organize, advertise and communicate with local businesses who are participating with the March for Meals campaign.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Started advertising for new Grief series workshops with Mt. Hood hospice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She went on a hike with the center on Feb 19th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the month of February Energy Assistance  Caroleana completed and submitted 9 applications<\/strong> for local senior households, and has 2 applications <\/strong>pending.   Several appointments were held with the assistance of a translator from Todos Juntos staff.   This was a wonderful collaboration allowing more households to be assisted with this great program.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Hike at Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge and lunch at Old Spaghetti Factory (was supposed to be Bob’s Redmill but they closed unexpectedly earlier in the month) – 11 people with Caroleana joining us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Dine out at Bugatti’s in Oregon City – 11 people<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Oregon Quilt Festival in Salem with lunch at In-N-Out Burger afterwards – 7 people<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cancelled trips due to Inclement weather:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
