The 3rd Annual Yappy Hour was a huge success even though it rained in the
beginning. It rained for set up but the sky cleared right before the start. We had close to 200 people with their dogs and everyone had a blast. The vendors were excited and impressed with how many people came out. We had more new vendors and more want to come next year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Summer Guide came out the first week in May. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Softball started on May 29th with another 12 teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caroleana: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caroleana had over 224 <\/strong>senior related calls this month-   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The center had 5 new<\/strong> clients and 6 Reassessments<\/strong> for current <\/strong>clients; which involved a home visit with each client and a completed NAPIS form for Clackamas County.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Helped the team this month by packing coolers several times and running a route. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We continued to hold congregate lunches on Tuesdays.\u00a0 In the month of May we served on 4 Tuesdays, with a total of 95 meals served in the month. \u00a0 Those who attended senior lunch service donated $107\u00a0towards the nutrition program for the month of May.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For one of the lunch days we had 4 visitors from the Aging Service Advisory Council.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clackamas County Energy Assistance<\/strong> summer program started this month and Caroleana helped 19<\/strong> households with their submission of applications. \u00a0 We received multiple calls for energy assistance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attended the Virtual Symposium on Older Adult Mental Health <\/strong>– presented by the National Council on Aging. \u00a0 I heard from multiple professionals with a full day of learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Held the Senior Resource Fair where we had 22 vendors organizations \/ businesses which included 34 people.\u00a0 We had approximately 75 attendees from our community. There were many new faces to the center who came and learned about great resources from the vendors and our city.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
