{"id":262,"date":"2015-05-15T21:48:39","date_gmt":"2015-05-15T21:48:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/reports.cityofsandy.com\/finance\/?p=262"},"modified":"2015-05-19T23:42:30","modified_gmt":"2015-05-19T23:42:30","slug":"april-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reports.cityofsandy.com\/finance\/2015\/05\/15\/april-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"April 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #008000\"><strong>Accounting ~<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Click <strong><a title=\"here\" href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/a\/ci.sandy.or.us\/finance-reports\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a><\/strong> to connect to the online <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Finance Reports as of April 30, 2015.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Meeting with our Auditor in May to discuss preliminary planning for fiscal year ending June 30, 2015.\n<ul>\n<li>Audit dates: \u00a0June 23-25 ~ Pre-audit fieldwork and August 24-18 ~ Audit fieldwork<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Met with US Bank representatives to get an overview of banking services that could benefit the city operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #008000\"><b>Budget ~<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Thank you to the Budget Committee for participating in the City&#8217;s budget process.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Supplement Budget for FY 2013-15 is scheduled for the June 1st Council Meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000\"><b>Training\u00a0~<\/b><\/span><b><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fogliettaconsulting.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/training-LQ.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"121\" height=\"101\" \/><\/b>\u00a0Staff attended the following training sessions &#8211; PERS, Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) Wage and Hour Laws, \u00a0BOLI Leave Laws, Notary, and GFOA&#8217;s Advanced Accounting and Government Accounting, Auditing and Financial Review.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #008000\"><b>Software Implementation ~<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #008000\"><b><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/img.icbdr.com\/MediaManagement\/MN\/MVM04F6YK9XRS98Q8MN.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"163\" height=\"89\" \/><\/b><\/span>Incode staff arrived on May 11th to begin on site implementation of the Financial Suites modules.\u00a0The implementation will continue through November 2015.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #008000\">Insurance ~<\/span> \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">The City received four (4) proposals for Insurance Agent of Record.\n<ul>\n<li>Brown &amp; Brown Northwest Insurance, WSC Insurance, WHA Insurance and Propel Insurance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">The Selection Committee met to discuss and review the proposals. \u00a0A notice of intent to award was sent to Brown &amp; Brown Northwest Insurance. \u00a0Staff will be presenting a staff report at the June 1st meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Accounting ~ Click here to connect to the online Finance Reports as of April 30, 2015.
