\nLast year we did the Library Summer Reading program at Vista, and didn’t have any finishers.\u00a0 So this year we tailored the program to run more like our school year program with specific challenges.\u00a0 And we got 14 finishers!\u00a0 A great result.<\/p>\n

\nCoffee House –\u00a0 72 people came to listen to Terry Robb, Portland’s blues guitar virtuoso.<\/p>\n

Paint Nite –\u00a0 13 people came to paint with Melissa Lawrence.\u00a0 We had a last minute date change.\u00a0 Paint Nite’s will now be on Saturday evenings.<\/p>\n

Book Group – Men’s 9 people came to discuss Peace like a River\u00a0<\/i>by Leif\u00a0Enger, Hoodland 9 people came to discuss The Dog Stars<\/em> by Peter Heller.<\/p>\n

Photography Group – Mike Earussi taught 6 of us how to mount a photograph to a rigid acrylic backing for a cheap, but great looking display option.<\/p>\n

ESOL tutoring – 12 learners and 11 kids in 7 sessions with 13 tutors.<\/p>\n
