\nSandy Grade field trips – 355 kids visited the library in October to get tours, and check out books<\/p>\n

Vista Apartments – 82 kids attended to do folk tale scavenger hunts and story challenges, create Dia de los Muertos artwork, and do pattern block and LEGO challenges.<\/p>\n

\n418 people came to the Haunted Library sponsosrd by the Teen Advisory Board, 145 teens came to Haunted Library planning meetings, 25 teens came to the wrap-up event.<\/p>\n

Paint Nite – 16 teens attended.<\/p>\n

\nLibrary Coffee House – 77 people came to hear the Americana singer\/songwriter Claudia Nygaard.\u00a0 The Wy’East Artisans led rock painitng in the Community Room.<\/p>\n

Using Herbs to Live Abundantly – 16 people attended this program.<\/p>\n

Warren Easley at Hoodland<\/p><\/div>\n

Author Talk – 15 people came to hear mystery author Warren Easley speak at the Hoodland Library.<\/p>\n

Tell Tale Heart – 12 people came to hear Christopher Lebrick’s scary stories.<\/p>\n

Preparing Your Garden for Winter – 8 people attended this class put on by the Master Gardeners.<\/p>\n

Medicare with Confidence – 6 people attended at the Hooldand Library.<\/p>\n

\nESOL tutoring – 28 learners met with 22 tutors in 11 sessions to work on their English language skills.<\/p>\n

Mt Hood Farmer’s Market – on our last day at the market we talked to 10 people and gave out 2 seed packets.\u00a0 Wrapping up a great Market season where we talked to a total of 259 people, gave out 80 seed packets, gave out 5 new library cards, and more than 20 Summer Reading packets.<\/p>\n

Book Club – Sandy Men’s 11 people came to discuss The Last Lecture<\/em> by Randy Pausch, Hoodland 9 people came to discuss\u00a0Exit West<\/em> by Moshin Hamid<\/p>\n

Public Notary – 5 documents notarized in 3 sessions at Hoodland Library.<\/p>\n
