We asked community members to make Holiday cards for Meals on Wheels clients and seniors living in Avamere Sandy and Avamere Cascadia. We needed about 450 cards, and received over 650! The additional cards went to energy assistance clients, and Christmas basket recipients through the Community Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\nHat, scarf, and mitten trees – Sandy community members gave new hats, scarfs and mittens for organizers of the Sandy Community Dinner to hand out to attendees, and Hoodland community members gave to the food pantry. Sandy Library gathered 77 items, Hoodland Library gathered 40 items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Hoodland <\/strong>we had 17 people schedule appointments to use the computers. Capacity at Hoodland is 12 appointments\/week. People need to call to make an appointment. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday & Thursday: 2 pm to 5 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\nMobile Printing <\/strong>People are definitely catching on to our mobile printing<\/a> services. <\/strong>Send prints from your smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Once the print job is sent, it will sit in a que waiting to be released to print. Call the library to have staff release the print job in the que to print. Pick up your prints through our Curbside Service<\/a>. Prints must be picked up the same day the print job is sent. For a limited time, printing is free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
