Long-time volunteer retires from Sandy Public Library<\/strong>
Alberta Allen volunteered time at the Sandy Library for 24 years. For most of that time, she worked two full days processing books to get them ready for check-out. We held a retirement party for her. She will be missed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DHS is in the Library. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am – 3:00pm for drop-in assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mobile Printing <\/strong>Send prints from your smartphone, tablet, or laptop.  Once the print job is sent, it will sit in a queue waiting to be released.  Call the library on the same day to have staff release the print job. Pick up your prints in person or through our Curbside Service.

Sandy After School Kids’ Club – 5 kids and 3 adults made LEGO creations at LEGO Club, 20 kids and 9 adults attended the Fossil Fun STEM program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take & Make – 125 (102 Sandy and 23 Hoodland) kids pick up supplies to make Salt Dough Fossils.  Kids Take & Makes are available beginning on the 15th day of the month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LEGO Club at Hoodland – 3 kids and 1 adult<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reading Tutoring – 20 one hour sessions of reading tutoring (1 tutor and 1 student each).

Storytimes <\/strong>

Creation Station – Creation Station is a twice monthly interactive program that welcomes adults with disabilities.  15 people attended on the 2nd Monday of the month (Art Lab), 12 people attended the 4th Monday of the month (Maker Lab).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Class – 7 people attended with 1 tutor
ESOL tutor -9 one hour sessions (1 tutor and 1 student each)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
