Seed Check-outs and Donations
In 2024, we had 3045 packets of seeds checked out.\u00a0 Brianna Chase, our Seed Library Coordinator reports that we have received seed packet donations from one additional seed company (5 total) since our last report – our new total in donated seeds totals $1265.32.

Ongoing<\/strong>
<\/strong>Mobile Stabilization and Outreach Unit – 12 clients and 10 service providers attended.\u00a0 This unit is coordinated by Parole and Probation Officer, Amanda Denis from the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office with the help of community partners: Love One, 4D, Central City Concern, Parrott Creek, Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO), ODHS and Clackamas Behavioral Health.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take & Make – 100 (80 Sandy, 20 Hoodland) people pick up supplies to make Macrame Feather Keychains.  Adult Take and Makes are ready on the 15th of each month<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spanish Language Class – 8 people attended with one teacher<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creation Station – Creation Station is a twice monthly interactive program that welcomes adults with disabilities.  22 attended the 2nd Monday and 26 attended on the 4th Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fiber Arts Circle – 45 people attended in the Fireplace Room on Tuesday and Saturday afternoons, and 15 attended Fiber Arts at Hoodland!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

American Red Cross Blood Drive – 29 people attended and 25 donated blood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mahjong – 15 people attended the beginner mahjong lesson with regular play afterwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Edible Gardening Group – 7 people attended<\/p>\n\n\n\n

French Conversation group <\/strong>– 5 people attended this group at Hoodland Library<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Computer Classes – 2 people attended Microsoft Word, 3 attended iPhone and iPad<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Book-a-Librarian – 4 people attended to install critical updates on laptop and load apps on Samsung tablet, Upload photos from memory card onto laptop, Libby Kindle installation and tutorial, get help with a laptop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
