This month we talked to 95 (123 last month) people at the Mt Hood Farmers Market and 131 (99 last month) people at the Hoodland Farmers Market.  We collected a total of $183 (last month $187) to help us upfit the Mobile Library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Read to the Dog – 36 kids and 21 adults attended to read to Tanis who returned from vacation on August 12th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reading Tutoring – 7 one hour sessions of reading tutoring  at Sandy (1 tutor and 1 student each).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take & Make – 120 people (100 Sandy, 20 Hoodland) picked up kits to make nature suncatchers.  Kids Take & Makes are available starting on the 15th of each month.

Storytimes<\/strong>

<\/strong>Mobile Stabilization and Outreach Unit – 4 clients and 6 service providers attended.  This unit is coordinated by Parole and Probation Officer, Amanda Denis from the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office with the help of community partners: Love One, 4D, Central City Concern, Parrott Creek, Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO), ODHS and Clackamas Behavioral Health.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

American Red Cross Blood Drive – 28 people attended.  24 donors and 4 staff\/volunteers attended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creation Station – Creation Station is a twice monthly interactive program that welcomes adults with disabilities.  21 attended the 2nd Monday and 28 attended on the 4th Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
