Program Highlights<\/strong> \"medSuzanne_trio\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Our February First Friday Library Coffee House<\/strong> had\u00a0<\/strong>Bob Burgeni & Suzanne Callaway<\/span> present \u00a0“A Jazzy Valentine”, <\/span>an acoustic, romance themed evening of fun jazz tunes<\/span>. \u00a0Fifty people came to sample sweets from Tollgate Inn and listen to the music.<\/span><\/p>\n

Th\"medValentines_1\"e\u00a0Hoodland Library held a\u00a0Valentine’s Day crafting<\/strong> workshop on Wednesday, February 11th. \u00a0They made bird seed hearts, and strung chains of hearts.<\/p>\n

On \"FullSizeRenderFebruary 20th, we held a Teen Art Night<\/strong> after hours at the Library. \u00a0Local artists were be on hand to present their crafts. \u00a0Among the artists who will be present are two members of the Wy’East Artisan Guild. \u00a0Joan Ragan, who helped the teens make\u00a0stained glass tile mosaics. \u00a0Becky Hawley, the head of the Kids Outreach Program, and Art Volunteer at Firwood, taught teens how to design a personal logo. Kathy Marawski, from Beads Down Under, was\u00a0there with beads and findings for earring-making. \u00a0In addition, we had a table set up for\u00a0colored pencil art, and a table set up for freehand drawing and water colors.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Third Friday Teen Nights make the library your living room from 7-9:30pm.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On Saturday, February 21st \u00a0to celebrate the month of love and friendship, the Sandy Public Library held a free wine and chocolate tasting<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>and<\/em>\u00a0a viewing of a classic romantic comedy<\/strong>? Inconceivable! \u00a0A special thak you to Dita’s Chocolates and Wine for bringing goodies \"Ditas-Chocolate-Company-Logo\"<\/a>to\u00a0entice, and to \"imgres\"<\/a>Clackamas County Bank\u00a0for providing popcorn. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
