Friday, March 4th was the Library Coffee House featuring\u00a0Irish Folk – An anthology of Folk chronologically arranged by Carolee and Romeo Carrara. \u00a0112 people came to enjoy the evening.<\/p>\n

LEGO Club continues to be a big hit! \u00a0As\u00a0the first Saturday of the month, as part of our\u00a0Saturday Afternoon Kids’ Club, LEGO Club continues to lead the pack. \u00a025 Kids and 10 adults created LEGO masterpieces on March 5th. \u00a0Remember to stop by the Sandy Library to see the LEGO display each month!<\/p>\n

On March 19th, author Jane Kirkpatrick spoke at the Hoodland Library. \u00a031 people were enchanted by her stories.<\/p>\n

Tuesday, March 29th, We held a workshop:\u00a0Gardening\u00a0with Native Plants. \u00a0Clackamas County Master Gardener, Kris LaMar, shared information and ideas to spruce up your yard. \u00a016 people attended the workshop.<\/p>\n

Wednesday, March 30th, we held our monthly Anime Club for 6-8th graders. \u00a0Since we have started this club in January, we have had an average of 22 kids in attendance! \u00a0They are interested in meeting weekly, rather than monthly.<\/p>\n

On March 31st,\u00a0Heather Michet of Iris Healing Arts presented \u201cThe Spirit of Health\u201d — The science of health is everywhere these days: “What’s ‘good’ to eat? \u00a0Avoid this! \u00a0Relax. \u00a0Sweat out the toxins!” \u00a0Ms. Michet outlined steps and techniques to help balance mental, emotional, physical and spiritual aspects to help you create a healthy life. 11 people attended this workshop.<\/p>\n

\"IMG_3204\"<\/a>The Photography Club hung their Spring\u00a0Group Show on the entry ramp wall. \u00a0Three local photographers contributed eight photographs for this beautiful exhibit.<\/p>\n
