Kids Programs<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"File_000<\/a>53 people attended Saturday Afternoon Kids’ Club at Sandy. 47 attended in Hoodland.<\/p>\n

Storytimes at Sandy had 99 kids and 97 adult attend, Hoodland had 38 kids and 26 adults attend.<\/p>\n

In our outreach efforts at the Vista Apartments, we checked out books and did literacy based activities with 57 kids.<\/p>\n

Teen Programs<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"File_003\"<\/a>Our Teen Lock-In with Antfarm had 51 teens attend.<\/p>\n

Game Factory had 18\u00a0teens attend in the month of\u00a0September.<\/p>\n

We held our first Teen Book Club meeting on September 24th. \u00a0The book discussed was Taking Aim.<\/p>\n

Anime Club on September 28th drew 16\u00a0teens. They are currently watching episodes of Naruto Season one, and working on their art journals.\"naruto\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Adult Programs<\/strong><\/p>\n

On September 1st. the Sandy Library helped to host the Black Swan Youth Theatre in Meinig Park. \u00a050 People attended Shakespeare’s As You Like It<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Our Library Coffee House on September 2nd with Eric John Kaiser, Portland’s own French Troubadour had 93 people attend.<\/p>\n

September 14th, we held our last Readers’ Theatre Program in conjunction with Actor’s Dojo before taking several months hiatus. \u00a0Look for more Reader’s Theatre programs next summer.<\/p>\n

On September 15th, we hosted Michael P Jones. \u00a0He lectured about\u00a0Portland’s infamous Shanghai Tunnels to 28 eager individuals.<\/p>\n

Art Exhibits<\/strong><\/p>\n

Artist Exhibit Program of\u00a0www.clackamasartsalliance.org<\/a>\u00a0presents\u00a0watercolor\u00a0paintings of\u00a0Cheryl Butterfield. \u00a0This exhibit will be up through\u00a0November\"File_002<\/a>.
