Teen Paint Nite paintings<\/p><\/div>\n

\nTeens<\/strong>
\nOn 2\/17 we held our very first Paint Nite at the Sandy Library. \u00a0Paint Nites are being taught by Melissa Lawrence who is a member of the Library Advisry Board and formerly worked for Vine Gogh<\/a> in Portland. \u00a017 kids attended, and had a great night! \u00a0We will continue to have paint nites for both teens and adults. \u00a0Our next class for adults is on March 17th!<\/p>\n

No more dieting with Dr. Victoria Larson<\/p><\/div>\n

Adults<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our Watercolor Adventure<\/strong> Class was postponed from January because of incelement weather. \u00a0This class was taught by local artist Eileen Holzman, and had an attendance of 15 adults.<\/p>\n

“No More Dieting”, a presentation by Dr. Victoria Lawrence on Febraury 24th had 13 people in attendance.<\/p>\n

Family<\/strong><\/p>\n

Brady Goss, phenomenal honky-tonk piano player & singer was our Coffe House musician on February 3rd. \u00a094 people braved the weather to come see him!<\/p>\n

\nKids<\/strong>
\n48 kids and parents came to Saturday Afternoon Kids’ Club – Sandy in February.
\n14 kids and parents came to Saturday Afternoon Kids’ Club – Hoodland in February.
\n59 kids and parents came to Preschool Story Time in Sandy in February. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Toddler Time and Baby Time in Sandy combined starting in the month of February. \u00a0The reuslt is Wee Ones Story, Songs, & Playtime! We had 180 kids and parents attend!
\n51 parents and kids came to Storytime in\u00a0Hoodland
\nWe did literacy activities with 63 parents and kids at the Vista Apartments in February<\/p>\n

Teens<\/strong>
\n15 teens attended MakerSpace in February.
\n42 teens attended Game Factory Coding Club in February.
\n27 teens attended Anime Club in February.
\n12 teens attended T-LAB (Teen-Library Advisory Board) in February to help the library plan teen programs and services.<\/p>\n

\"\"Adults<\/strong><\/p>\n

ESOL – English Language and Culture Class had a diffciult time in February becuse of fear in the Hispanic community. \u00a0After 2 classes\u00a0with no attendance, the rest of the month had 12 students make it to the library.
\n7 people made\u00a0it to the Book Club at Hoodland to discuss Station Eleven.<\/em>
\n6 people at the Hoodland Library utilized our free Public Notary service.<\/p>\n

Meetings, etc<\/strong>
\nRebecca Robinowtiz & Monica Smith attended the Youth Service Provider Network <\/strong>meeting on 2\/1, This presentation focused on Social Media and the Impact on Youth. \u00a0Sara McClurg, the Crime Prevention Specialist for Clackamas County Sheriff Office, presented on Internet Safety and the most recent threat and impacts on youth.
