This subdivision has 43 lots, two tracts for wetlands and stormwater retention, and links Maple Street to Averill Parkway. Staff have heard from Lennar as they may be purchasing all 43 lots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/reports.cityofsandy.com\/planning\/files\/2026\/07\/image-2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"956\" height=\"703\" src=\"https:\/\/reports.cityofsandy.com\/planning\/files\/2026\/07\/image-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1825\" srcset=\"https:\/\/reports.cityofsandy.com\/planning\/files\/2026\/07\/image-2.png 956w, https:\/\/reports.cityofsandy.com\/planning\/files\/2026\/07\/image-2-300x221.png 300w, https:\/\/reports.cityofsandy.com\/planning\/files\/2026\/07\/image-2-768x565.png 768w, https:\/\/reports.cityofsandy.com\/planning\/files\/2026\/07\/image-2-408x300.png 408w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 956px) 100vw, 956px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">plat for the Bornstedt Views subdivision<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Saint Michael&#8217;s Church Addition:<\/strong> The City held a pre-application conference with St. Michael&#8217;s Church on Langensand Road for the review of a future 1,535 square foot single story addition. The addition is proposed to be used for office and classroom space. The addition will be at the rear of the building and match the current fa\u00e7ade and roof pitch of the existing building. Due to the moratorium, a full \u201cDesign Review\u201d will be postponed until when the City releases additional sanitary sewer hookups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Building Division Update:<\/strong><br>Permits Issued = 36<br>C of O\u2019s Issued = 1 for a single family home, and 2 for new businesses (no new ERUs associated with the two new businesses)<br>ERUs Issued = 5 single family homes and 2 duplex units<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fireworks Stands:<\/strong> The owners of TNT Fireworks and Big Bang Fireworks have received their annual temporary use permits for the sale of fireworks in the city of Sandy. They have setup multiple 20 by 40-foot tents in the parking lots of local businesses.
