We\u00a0<\/span>conducted Emergency Vehicle Operations Course training (EVOC) in February. \u00a0We structure our training based on the last years history of accidents and mishaps. \u00a0In our case we had a few slow speed backing accidents in 2014. \u00a0The course was set up and instruction given by Officer Kevin Way, our EVOC instructor. \u00a0What is particularly noteworthy about this training is the cost. \u00a0We had a few hours of overtime and fuel but that was it. \u00a0We conducted the training on a Saturday, using a small portion of the Sand High School parking lot.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

We also continued work with Estacada in our efforts to find funding for a School Resource Officer. \u00a0I completed a draft IGA between the school district and city and am awaiting responses.<\/p>\n
