{"id":56,"date":"2012-05-17T23:19:50","date_gmt":"2012-05-17T23:19:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/reports.cityofsandy.com\/police\/?p=56"},"modified":"2012-05-17T23:19:50","modified_gmt":"2012-05-17T23:19:50","slug":"council-report-april-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reports.cityofsandy.com\/police\/2012\/05\/17\/council-report-april-2012\/","title":{"rendered":"Council Report &#8211; April 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">ADMINISTRATION<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The management team attended a meeting on Core Values Indexing as a tool for building better teams, while we found the process very interesting the cost of the program was extremely high and we had to pass on the program.\u00a0 The management team attended a one day training conference on team building and coaching that was informative and fun.\u00a0 \u00a0We had a CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services) Audit\/ Assessment\u00a0of our security enforcement, physical and technical security, encryption, identification, authentication, firewalls, and virus protection as it relates to the criminal justice information we use and store.\u00a0 We have a few small processes to correct, but overall the audit went very well.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">INVESTIGATIONS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Detective Bickle is working on several open cases; however the majority of his time in April was spent conducting background checks for reserve officers.\u00a0 He also worked on or closed seven other cases including Theft and Identify theft.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">CODE ENFORCEMENT<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Code Enforcement Officer Moody, wrote 18 tickets in April.
