The PWB Intertie Project was wrapped up in August. With the exception of some landscaping issues at the booster pump station and the reservoir site the punchlist is complete. The landscape items will be taken care of in the Fall when plant survival rates are better.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WASTEWATER &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>A total of 28,960,000 gallons of sewage were treated and re-used for irrigation purposes. Minimum flow was 0.86 MGD on the 20th. Maximum flow was 1.05 MGD on the 11th, (rainfall was 0.2 inches on the 10th and 0.6 inches on the 11th). A total of 0.95 inches of rainfall was recorded during the month.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #373737\">\u00a0BOD concentration was 11 mg\/l; BOD loading was 84.6\u00a0lbs.; permit allows 10 mg\/l and 125 lbs.; SS concentration was 5.8\u00a0 mg\/l; SS loading was 43.9 lbs.; permit allows 10 mg\/l and 125 lbs. Effluent BOD and SS permit limits do not apply when the treated wastewater is used for land application \u2013 these figures are shown to demonstrate treatment efficiency.\u00a0\u00a0 No sludge\u00a0was processed during the month. The pumps at Marcy St.; Northside, Southside, Southeast, Southwest and Meinig Ave. lift stations ran a total of 306\u00a0hours. A pump at the Northside pump station failed and will be replaced.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>STREETS<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0The street sweeping contractor spent 45\u00a0hours sweeping streets and collected more than 15 tons (23 cu. yds.) of debris, covering 129 lane miles. The Dubarko Drive rehabilitation Project was completed, final striping will be performed in September.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: inherit\"><strong>PARKS \/ OTHER &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0The FTTH project\u00a0continues to consume a lot of PW staff time.
