The structural engineer&#8217;s review of the support beams in the Vista Loop reservoir was completed in February the report should be finished in March.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WASTEWATER &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>A total of 42,730,000 gallons of sewage were treated and discharged to Tickle Creek. Minimum flow was 0.95\u00a0MGD on the 24th. Maximum flow was 2.67\u00a0MGD on the 18th.\u00a0(rainfall was 0.7\u00a0inches on the 23rd\u00a0and 0.25 inches on the 24th). A total of 5.6\u00a0inches\u00a0of rainfall was recorded during February.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #373737\">\u00a0BOD concentration was 6.7 mg\/l; BOD loading was 88\u00a0lbs.; permit allows 10 mg\/l and 125 lbs.; SS concentration was 6.1\u00a0mg\/l; SS loading was 69\u00a0lbs.; permit allows 10 mg\/l and 125 lbs. \u00a0 No\u00a0sludge was processed, hauled or spread during the month. The pumps at Marcy St.; Northside, Southside, Southeast, Southwest and Meinig Ave. lift stations ran a total of 321\u00a0hours with no significant problems. The radiator on the standby generator at the Northside pump station was replaced.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>STREETS<\/strong><em>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<\/em>The street sweeping contractor spent 38\u00a0hours sweeping streets and collected more than 6.5\u00a0tons (17 cu. yds.) of debris, covering 131 lane miles<em>. <\/em>Five existing wheelchair ramps were replaced and one new ramp was installed along Dubarko Rd. As part of our Fund Exchange agreement with ODOT for the Dubarko Rd. resurfacing project we were required to bring substandard ADA ramps adjacent to the project up to standard. The sandblasting residue from the yellow curb paint removal contained enough lead that special disposal of the material was required at a cost of over $1,600.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: inherit\"><strong>PARKS \/ OTHER &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>With the warm dry weather turf grass mowing in City parks resumed\u00a0in February. New locks were installed on the restroom doors in Meinig Park.
