{"id":625,"date":"2022-06-21T16:45:41","date_gmt":"2022-06-21T16:45:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reports.cityofsandy.com\/publicworks\/?p=625"},"modified":"2022-06-21T16:45:41","modified_gmt":"2022-06-21T16:45:41","slug":"public-works-may-monthly-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reports.cityofsandy.com\/publicworks\/2022\/06\/21\/public-works-may-monthly-report\/","title":{"rendered":"Public Works &#8211; MAY Monthly Report"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-blue-color\">WATER:<\/mark><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><em>Alder Creek<\/em><\/strong> had a Peak Day production of 0.733 MG on May 30<sup>th<\/sup>.<br><\/li><li><strong><em>Alder Creek<\/em><\/strong> water plant production net of backwash water used was 8.148 MG.<br><\/li><li><strong><em>Brownell Springs<\/em><\/strong> production was a total of 7.16 MG and Peak Day production was on May 7<sup>th<\/sup> with a total of 355,425 gallons.<br><\/li><li><strong><em>Portland Water Bureau<\/em><\/strong> source production was a total of 13,794,001 gallons with a Peak Day production of 500,276 gallons on May 21<sup>st<\/sup>.<br><\/li><li>We recorded a total of 9.66 inches of rainfall at the water plant with peak rainfall on May 13<sup>th<\/sup> with a total of 1.35 inches.<br><\/li><li><strong><u>EQUIPMENT ISSUES:<\/u><\/strong> None noted<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-blue-color\">WASTEWATER<\/mark><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>On May 7<sup>th<\/sup> the Peak day flow was 4.51 MG with .81 inches of rainfall.\u00a0 The day before on May 6th, 1.01 inches of rainfall were recorded.<br><\/li><li>A total of 46.2 MG of sewage was treated in the month of May.<br><\/li><li>Monthly rainfall recorded at the plant was 7.16 inches with a peak of 1.01 inches on the 6<sup>th<\/sup> of May.<br><\/li><li>1,408,740 gallons of sludge were dewatered, processed and landfilled during May.<br><\/li><li>Monthly Average Effluent BOD &amp; TSS \/ NO PERMIT REQUIREMENT<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>EQUIPMENT ISSUES:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Seasonal switchover complete &#8211; 5\/2\/22<\/li><li>Process water line break repaired by clarifier 2 &#8211; 5\/2\/22<\/li><li>RAS\/WAS room sump pump out of service &#8211; 5\/11\/22<\/li><li>Stator and flex coupler for solids conveyance line repaired &#8211; 5\/13\/22<\/li><li>New O&amp;M Tech Brent started &#8211; 5\/16\/22<\/li><li>Polyblend cylinder repaired, belt filter press operational again &#8211; 5\/18\/22<\/li><li>Drained aeration basin 1 for construction &#8211; 5\/24\/22<br><br><u><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-blue-color\">STREETS:<\/mark><\/strong><\/u><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The City\u2019s street sweeping contractor removed 32 cubic yards of debris and traveled 189 miles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WATER: Alder Creek had a Peak Day production of 0.733 MG on May 30th.
