{"id":630,"date":"2022-07-18T21:56:30","date_gmt":"2022-07-18T21:56:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reports.cityofsandy.com\/publicworks\/?p=630"},"modified":"2022-07-18T21:56:30","modified_gmt":"2022-07-18T21:56:30","slug":"pw-monthly-report-june-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reports.cityofsandy.com\/publicworks\/2022\/07\/18\/pw-monthly-report-june-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"PW MONTHLY REPORT ~ JUNE 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><u><mark style=\"background-color:#e2e2e2\" class=\"has-inline-color\">WATER:<\/mark><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><em>Alder Creek<\/em><\/strong> &nbsp;had a Peak Day production of 0.901 MG on June 30<sup>th<\/sup>.<br><\/li><li><strong><em>Alder Creek<\/em><\/strong> &nbsp;water plant production net of backwash water used was 11.66 MG.<br><\/li><li><strong><em>Brownell Springs<\/em><\/strong> production was a total of 7.03 MG and Peak Day production was on June 7<sup>th<\/sup> with a total of 435,615 gallons.<br><\/li><li><strong><em>Portland Water Bureau<\/em><\/strong> &nbsp;source production was a total of 13,757,517 gallons with a Peak Day production of 614,468 on June 17<sup>th<\/sup>.<br><\/li><li>We recorded a total of 9.28 inches of rainfall at the water plant with peak rainfall on June 10<sup>th<\/sup> with a total of 2.51 inches.<br><\/li><li><strong><u>Equipment Issues:<\/u><\/strong>&nbsp; None noted.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><u><strong><mark style=\"background-color:#e2e2e2\" class=\"has-inline-color\">WASTEWATER<\/mark><\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>On June 10<sup>th<\/sup> the Peak day flow was 3.74 MG and there was 1.35 inches of rainfall.&nbsp; The day before on March 9th, no rainfall was recorded.<br><\/li><li>A total of 42.52 MG of sewage was treated in the month of June.<br><\/li><li>Monthly rainfall recorded at the plant was 6.03 inches with a peak of 2.00 inches on June 11<sup>th<\/sup>.<br><\/li><li>1,170,280 gallons of sludge were dewatered, processed and landfilled during June.<br><\/li><li>Monthly Average Effluent BOD and the June monthly average for TSS was reported as N\/A (recycled).<br><\/li><li><strong><u>Equipment Issues:<\/u><\/strong>&nbsp;<br>June 12<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 Overflow led to clogged process pumps.&nbsp; Replaced both.<br>June 22<sup>nd<\/sup> \u2013 Disk filter 1 drive motor failed. Replacement options are being investigated<br><\/li><li><strong><u>Permit Exceedances or Excursions:<\/u><\/strong>&nbsp;<br>June 10<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 Large rain event led to emergency discharge into Tickle Creek<br><br><strong><u><mark style=\"background-color:#e2e2e2\" class=\"has-inline-color\">STREETS:<\/mark><\/u><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The City\u2019s street sweeping contractor removed 16 cubic yards of debris.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WATER: Alder Creek &nbsp;had a Peak Day production of 0.901 MG on June 30th.
