{"id":651,"date":"2022-10-14T14:53:12","date_gmt":"2022-10-14T14:53:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reports.cityofsandy.com\/publicworks\/?p=651"},"modified":"2022-10-17T19:36:29","modified_gmt":"2022-10-17T19:36:29","slug":"public-works-monthly-report-september-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reports.cityofsandy.com\/publicworks\/2022\/10\/14\/public-works-monthly-report-september-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"PUBLIC WORKS \u2013 Monthly Report \u2013 September 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><u><mark style=\"background-color:#1982d1\" class=\"has-inline-color has-white-color\">WATER:<\/mark><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><em>Alder Creek<\/em><\/strong> had a Peak Day production of 1.664 MG on September 12th.<br><\/li><li><strong><em>Alder Creek<\/em><\/strong> water plant production net of backwash water used was 25.2318 MG<br><\/li><li><strong><em>Brownell Springs<\/em><\/strong> production was a total of 4.47 MG and Peak Day production was on September 9<sup>th<\/sup> with a total of 400,170 gallons<br><\/li><li><strong><em>Portland Water Bureau<\/em><\/strong> source production was a total of 13,071,512 gallons with a Peak Day production of 519,059 gallons on September 20<sup>th<\/sup>.<br><\/li><li>We recorded a total of 1.06 inches of rainfall at the water plant with peak rainfall on September 28<sup>th<\/sup> with a total of 0.49inches.<br><br><strong><u>EQUIPMENT ISSUES:<\/u><\/strong> <br>Power Outage from September 9<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 11<sup>th<\/sup> creating the generator to overheat at Terra Fern.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u><mark style=\"background-color:#1982d1\" class=\"has-inline-color has-white-color\">WASTEWATER<\/mark><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A total of 20.98 MG of sewage was treated in the month of September<br><\/li><li>On September 5<sup>th<\/sup> the Peak day flow was 1.07 MG. No rainfall was recorded that day or the day before.&nbsp;<br><\/li><li>Monthly rainfall recorded at the plant was 0.59 inches with a peak of 0.20 inches on the 29<sup>th<\/sup> of September<br><\/li><li>667,200 gallons of sludge were dewatered, processed and landfilled during September<br><\/li><li>Monthly Average Effluent BOD &amp; TSS \u2013 N\/A (Recycled)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>EQUIPMENT ISSUES:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Caustic Pump Replaced (9\/2)<\/li><li>Pumps out for Cell 2 &amp; 3, temporarily using Slaydens portable pumps (9\/17)<\/li><li>Pond scraped to remove solids (9\/20)<\/li><li>AB2 switch over (9\/22)<\/li><li>DEQ onsite (9\/27)<\/li><li>Rivercity onsite to clean out AB2 (9\/27)<\/li><li>IMLR 1 pulled &amp; sent to triangle for repair \u2013 Not functioning (9\/29) (Breaker change out.&nbsp; Flowmeter on EFF tripping causing pumps to Iseli\u2019s nursery to not function.
