Fiber to the Home
We continue to see a consistent level of signups for service which is keeping the SandyNet staff very busy. The team is constructing 5 – 8 new service drops per week and performing 12-15 service installs per week.
Urban Renewal District
Work continues in the UR district. We have been developing an RFP for engineering which includes a pretty complex map set of where we need infrastructure placed. I was hoping to have this done weeks ago, but it looks like we will be able to release it in April to get progress going for construction this summer.
Next Century Cities
Councilor Pietzold and I were able to attend a regional event for Next Century Cities in Seattle this month. As usual, SandyNet’s story was very popular as a lot of communities look to following our example with fiber for their communities.
