Banned Books Week is an annual awareness campaign promoted by the American Library Association and Amnesty International, that celebrates the freedom to read, draws attention to banned and challenged books, and highlights persecuted individuals.  We had a great interactive Display at Sandy this year which asked people to mark down which banned or challenged books they have read.

We had a “White Table” or “Missing Man Table” at Sandy Library in Honor of National POW/MIA Recognition Day.
