Library Coffeehouse – 58 people attended to listen to the music of Rebecca Conner and Leon Cotter. 23 people stopped in to the 24 hours in Sandy book release reception. Everyone got to enjoy the photos from 24 hours in Sandy hanging on the ramp wall. Thank you to Mountain Moka for the coffee donation!
Zero Waste Lifestyle – 17 people attended to hear science teach Renae Gregg talk about sustainable living.

Vista Apartments – 69 kids did literacy and STEM activities. Balance activities, Dia de los Muertos crafts, reading, and challenge worksheets.
ESOL tutoring –
Department of Human Services – 4 people got general information and assistance with SNAP benefits.
Training
All Clackamas County Libraries closed on October 14th, for our 4th all LINCC staff training day. The theme was Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. Keynote Speaker was Tricia Brand, Chief Diversity Officer for Portland Community College.

Plus -our very own Monica Smith ran a session on meditation, Katie Murphy was part of an unconference that centered on discussion. Many thanks to Thea Ellen who is on the Innovation Committee and spent many hours to plan the day and help it run smoothly!
