Teen Paint Nite – 21 teens attended our last Teen Paint Nite.
Ongoing
TeenSpace – 93 teens. 21 attended our Virtual Reality (VR) TeenSpace! At this event they played single-player games like Beat Saber and multiplayer games like Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes.
Teen – Library Advisory Board (T-LAB) – 8 teens talked about teen programs and services at the Sandy Library.
Adult Programs
Special
Library Coffeehouse – 105 people attended to listen to the old-time string band music of Old Barn Preservation Society. Thank you to Mountain Moka for the coffee donation!
24 Hours in Welches reception – 36 people came to see and celebrate this project outcome with the Photography Group at Hoodland.
Gardening for Wildlife – 8 people attended this presentation by Suzi Cloutier, Stewardship and Communications Manager with the Clackamas River Basin Council. Suzi has spent the past 15 years combining her love of gardening and wildlife to make beautiful and functional places to help both humans and wildlife thrive together.
Seedy Saturday – 37 people attended this seep swap/seed giveaway. Happy gardening! A bit thanks to our Seed Library Volunteers for getting the seeds for this program organized!

Men’s – 11 people discussed Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI by David Grann

Public Notary – Hoodland notarized 6 documents on 4 days.

Ongoing
Vista Apartments – 63 kids did literacy and STEM activities. This month was about art. The kids worked with clay and yan, and completed challenge worksheets.
ESOL tutoring – 38 tutors met with 42 students on 21 days.
Department of Human Services – Assisted 21 people with Oregon Health Plan (OHP) and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits applications.

Hoodland Library currently hosts the rustic window photography of Lone Ballentine. Come viw this art through April 8th.
