Hiking in the Alps – 24 people attended to hear about a trip that Elaine Russell, Library Assistant and her friend Ann Rogers took to Switzerland, Italy, and France.

Special
Vista Apartments Resource Fair – 60 people attended to learn about community resources.
Ongoing
Vista Apartments – 66 kids did literacy and STEM activities, and challenge worksheets. Plus they made bike smoothies with OSU Extension, Grape sculptures, and fish in the sea (creative snacks), and “shopped” at the “grocery store”.
ESOL tutoring – 47 tutors met with 54 students
Department of Human Services – 10 people were seen. They got application assistance, information about the OHP, SNAP benefits, and eviction assistance.
Training
Portland Literacy Council Tutor Training – Katie Murphy and 4 of the ESOL volunteer tutors attended a workshop on Adult Basic Skills/GED and English language learners at Clackamas Community College.
