Food for Fines happened this month!
We collected 488 items at Sandy and 56 items at Hoodland. As always people were very generous and over one third of the food items they donated did not go towards any fines/fees.
We held a school supply drive. Here were the results:

Mobile Printing Send prints from your smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Once the print job is sent, it will sit in a queue waiting to be released to print. Call the library on the same day to have staff release the print job.
Sandy – 18 users printed 59 jobs (132 pages)
Hoodland – 4 users printed 8 jobs (26 pages)
Library Cards Sandy created 18 ecards (76 new library accounts in person), Hoodland created 3 ecards (17 in person).
Checkouts
Sandy – 2370 sessions. This averages 82 sessions/day (up from 79 last month) 9864 items
Hoodland – 599 sessions. This averages 24 sessions/day (up from 23 last month) 2383 items
We checked out a total of 12,247 items(down from last month’s 12,801) through curbside pickup and browsing.

Spanish language storytime – an event with Mt Hood Unida. 15 people attended.

Teen Paint Nite – An effort of the Sandy Prevention Network. 21 teens attended this special Halloween themed paint nite. Please note – it was to be held under the Farmers Market tent outdoors, but moved to AntFarm because of poor weather conditions.

Red Cross Blood Drive in the Community Room – 33 people. They had 28 donors. 3 Deferred. They met 125% of their goal!
