Public Library Association Conference took place in Portland March 22-25. This national conference brought over 4500 people to the area. Preconferences, library vendors, great guest speakers, and libraries presented on important topics such as DEI community conversations and practices for libraries, emergency preparedness, program ideas, and of course books. 5 of us were able to attend the conference for at least one day.
The Library Community Room is now fully set up for hybrid meetings and events! Thank you to Scott Jones and Greg Brewster. Our April Library Advisory Board meeting was our first hybrid event.
