Tree Lighting
Over 500 people attended our annual tree lighting in Centennial Plaza. They listened to and sang along with the Sandy High School Choir, drank hot cocoa, ate cookies, popcorn, and candy canes, as Mayor Pulliam led the countdown, and DJ Anderson MC’d the event. A special thank you to Bill Knapp of Knapp Tree Farms for donating the tree, Santa, girl scout troop 11070 for helping hand out cookies and popcorn, Rotary Club of Sandy, the Sandy High School Choir and Choir Conductor Alec Chase, Public Works for hauling and setting up the tree, Sandy Transit Department, Sandy Parks and Recreation, the Sandy Public Library, Dan Kesterson and Holiday Decorators for their beautiful decorations, Khris Alexander and 2 Guys Sound.
