Officer’s Olmos and Hodges, along with Chief Yamashita, conducted another Run Hide Fight training this month. This time it was for the staff at Mt. Hood Athletic Club on November 2nd.
Chief Yamashita and Scott Coleman from Oregon Trail School District, presented our “Culture of Safety” presentation at the Annual Oregon School Board Association conference on November 12th. It was a well received. As a result of this, the Milton Freewater School district asked Chief Yamashita to come to out next month to address their school board. They are preparing to build a new school and want some input.
A search warrant was executed in the industrial park for violation of building codes. Terre Gift and the SPD were able to get some life safety issues addressed with the owners of the grow site.
A threat assessment was done of Mt. Hood Athletic Club and the Sandy Police Department are working together to develop emergency operations plans for the business.
We received our official letter from the Oregon Accreditation Alliance this week, awarding our accreditation for the next three years.
