Contract negotiations continue with the Sandy Police Association. To date, negotiations have been very respectful, and staff has every indication that the progress we have seen will continue into future meetings.

In March the City had zero new hires, and seven separations. All seven separations occurred in the Community Services Department: six aquatic center employees and one building monitor.

We will see another large of month for separations in May, as the city winds-down operations of the aquatic center for a closure on May 31st.
