HR Report – October 2025

For month of October, this is what happened in Human Resources:

The Community Service Officer 2nd conditional offer did not pass background. The position was reposted and will close on 10/31 and the review of applications will happen the first week in November.

Since Jason Coates was promoted to Sgt. that opened a Police Officer opening. A conditional offer was made to a candidate on the eligibility list and his background has been started.

The updated Personnel Polices was sent to all employees via DocuSign to get their acknowledgement signature of receiving their copy of the updated Policies.

Interviews were conducted for the Parks and Recreation Director position and more details will follow.

Public Works interviewed and extended an offer for the Utility Operator I that was accepted. That new employee starts on 11/18

Union Negotiations are still underway.

The date for the Employee Holiday Appreciation Luncheon will be Thursday, December 11th.
