Contract negotiations with the Sandy Police Association began this month. The City is looking forward to successful negotiation sessions with the SPA, resulting in another mutually agreeable contract.

In February the City had two new hires, and one separation. The two newly hired employees are working in the Library and the Police Department. The separated employee was working in the Community Services Department.

HR staff, with the help of Sergeant Lundry, has begun reviewing applications for a new Patrol Officer.
