Winterfest
Tree Lighting – 500 people came to our booth to talk to us or pick up our Take & Make 

Stocking Stroll- 525 people came to the library to get a goodie for their stocking!

Shortest Day Walkway – 492 people were counted coming to our booth to pick up a Take & Make, get their passport stamp, or play our snowman game.

Hat , Scarf, and Mitten Tree
176 items collected at Sandy.  Items included: lap blankets, head warmers, baselayer long underwear, socks, wash cloths, scarves, pairs of mittens/gloves, and hats.

76 items collected at Hoodland. Items included: blankets, socks, slippers, gloves/mittens, scarves, ear warmers, hats, and toiletries. Hoodland also collected 79 cans of food for Neighborhood Missions.

Holiday Cards for Seniors
343 (295 Sandy, 48 Hoodland) Holiday cards for seniors were returned and handed out to Meals on Wheels recipients and Avamere residents!  Thank you to our wonderful community for taking part in this event.

Kiwanis Toy Drive – A large number of items were collected for the Kiwanis Toy Drive.

Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS)
ODHS is in the Library. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am – 3:00pm for drop-in assistance.

Mobile Printing Send prints from your smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Call the library on the same day to have staff release the print job. Pick up your prints in person or through our Curbside Service.

140 people did our reindeer Scavenger Hunt (literacy activity) at Sandy, 30 at Hoodland

Ongoing
Take & Make – 120 (100 Sandy and 20 Hoodland) Melted Snowman Ornament. Take & Make available beginning on the 15th day of the month.  

Vista Apartments – 16 kids attended for literacy and STEM activities.

LEGO Club – Sandy 9 kids and 8 adults, Hoodland 4 kids and 3 adults

STEM Club – 4 kids and 3 adults learned how to make soap

Read to the Dog – 8 kids attended to read to our new dog, Tanis!

Reading Tutoring – 20 one hour sessions of reading tutoring  at Sandy (1 tutor and 1 student each) 1 hour at Hoodland.

Storytimes
Storytime videos were posted in our Facebook Group: Sandy and Hoodland Libraries – Storytime Parents Group.  Use numbers were recorded after 1 week. All Storytimes were presented by librarian Monica Smith – unless otherwise noted.

MakerSpace – 8 teens attended this session of our fall Makerspace Camp at the Community Center.  We made gingerbread houses, chocolate bark, laser engraved snowflakes, and soap.

Teen Hangout – 3 teens attended to make wire jewelry

Teen Library Advisory Board (TLAB) 3 teens attended

Take & Make – 100 (80 Sandy and 20 Hoodland) Frosted Winter Luminary. Take & Make available beginning on the 15th day of the month.

Spanish Language Class – 14 people attended with one teacher

Creation Station – Creation Station is a twice monthly interactive program that welcomes adults with disabilities.  21 people attended on the 2nd Monday of the month to ..

ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Class – 11 people attended with 1 teacher
ESOL tutor – 8 one hour sessions (1 tutor and 1 student each)

Writing Group  – 28 people attended our writing group
