For month of July, this is what happened in Human Resources:
The secondary job offer candidate for Community Service Officer did not pass background. The position will be reposted in early July and with interviews taking place August 13th.
The opening for the Police Records Specialist yielded 51 applications. Interviews will take place on August 12th.
The Facilities Maintenance Lead Position did not provide a hire. The position was reposted toward the end of July and will close August 4th.
Parks and Recreation Director was posted and closed the end of July. We have received 25 applications. Applications will go into the review process and interviews hoping for the end of August.
Public Works interviewed and offer a position that was accepted for a PW Utility Operator. The new employee starts August 18th.
The Police Department made a conditional job offer to a Lateral Police Officer and he has started the background process.
Two new Building Monitors started for Parks and Recreation on July 14th.
City wide COLA’s went into effect for General Services on 7/1/2025.
The first Union Negotiation started. Other meetings are set for September and October.
