Caroleana:
Caroleana had over 280 senior related calls this month. The center had 1 new meals on wheels client and 2 Reassessments for current clients; which involved a home visit with each client and a completed NAPIS form for Clackamas County.
Caroleana helped support our team by packing coolers several times throughout the month and delivering several routes for the Meals on Wheels program.
She continued to organize, advertise and communicate with local businesses who are participating with the March for Meals campaign.
Started advertising for new Grief series workshops with Mt. Hood hospice.
She went on a hike with the center on Feb 19th.
For the month of February Energy Assistance Caroleana completed and submitted 9 applications for local senior households, and has 2 applications pending. Several appointments were held with the assistance of a translator from Todos Juntos staff. This was a wonderful collaboration allowing more households to be assisted with this great program.

John:
ORPA (REPS) Section Meeting
I led a focused meeting on volunteer engagement within the Oregon Recreation and Park Association (ORPA) Recreation and Park Services (REPS) section. During the meeting, I shared best practices and strategies for improving volunteer recruitment, training, and retention. I also facilitated discussions to encourage knowledge exchange and collaboration among recreation professionals.
March 4 Meals Campaign
I helped Caroleana, our Client Services Coordinator, in her efforts to establish our second annual March 4 Meals campaign. My efforts centered on outreach to businesses along the Oregon coast to increase community participation and support.
Mountain Storm Basketball League
Throughout the month, I served as the active Supervisor for the Mountain Storm Basketball league. I oversaw daily operations, ensuring smooth execution of games and related activities. I addressed and resolved challenges promptly to maintain a positive and organized environment while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for both participants and spectators.
Summer Partnering Contractors
I met with summer program contractors to discuss upcoming programming and provided contracts and clear frameworks for a variety of summer offerings, including sports camps, aquatics programs, concerts, and movies in the park.
