The Drop In
Established key foundations for Basecamp’s first-ever skate and bike competition, The Drop In, scheduled for August 22–23. Finalized event dates and branding, completed a contract with Eclipse Solutions NW to host the competition, and developed a comprehensive sponsorship package aimed at offsetting event costs while creating meaningful partnership opportunities with local and regional businesses.
Mt. Storm
Collaborated with the recreation team to lead referee training sessions for 3rd/4th grade and 5th/6th grade youth basketball leagues. These trainings focused on expectations, rules, and best practices to ensure athlete safety, consistent officiating, and smooth game flow. Establishing this foundation supports a positive experience for players, coaches, and families.
SICC (Sandy Invitational Chainsaw Competition)
Continued discussions with the Sandy Invitational Chainsaw Competition (SICC) to explore a mutually beneficial partnership. The proposed collaboration would allow SICC to utilize select trees along the Tickle Creek Trail to launch an ascension program focused on teaching local youth how to safely harness in and climb trees. In exchange, SICC would recruit and organize a large volunteer group to support fuel mitigation efforts and general trail maintenance along Tickle Creek, strengthening stewardship and long-term trail health.
