Events
$1248.27 Bingo, Books, and Brews – 60 attendees came to this event that moved from outdoors to indoors at Mt Pizza and Brews due to wind gusts. A huge thank you for raffle items and prizes donated by: The Amber Experience, Antfarm, BDK Skateshop, Bigfoot Plumbing, Blue Door Rustics, Laura Strudwick, Liepold Farms, Maria Burke, Mt Hood Pet Resort, Once Upon a Tome, Snady Actors Theater, Thrive, and Wippersnappers!






Farmers Markets
The Season was winding down this month. We talked to 25 (95 last month) people at the Mt Hood Farmers Market and 37 (131 last month) people at the Hoodland Farmers Market. We collected a total of $78 (last month $183) to help us upfit the Mobile Library.
City of Sandy Volunteer Recognition – 55 volunteers attended for wine and cheese as well as fun and raffle prizes!

Vista Apartments – We’ve changed our program from weekly to monthly so that we can plan more special events! This first month, 11 kids attended to make crafts for Hispanic Heritage Month.


Pioneer Mobile Home Park – 17 kids attended to do fun stuff!

STEM Club – 28 kids and 15 adults attended to explore forensics



Read to the Dog – 30 kids and 18 adults attended to read to Tanis
Reading Tutoring – 19 one hour sessions of reading tutoring at Sandy (1 tutor and 1 student each).
Take & Make – 264 KIDS and TEENS (244 Sandy, 20 Hoodland) picked up pumpkins to enter our pumpkin decorating contests. 54 kids and 18 teens brought them back to enter. This special Take & Make was available starting on the 1st of the month.

Teen Library Advisory Board (TLAB) – 10 teens attended

Special
Puzzle Swap – 32 people attended to share puzzles and pick up new ones.
Ongoing
Mobile Stabilization and Outreach Unit – 5 clients and 5 service providers attended. This unit is coordinated by Parole and Probation Officer, Amanda Denis from the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office with the help of community partners: Love One, 4D, Central City Concern, Parrott Creek, Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO), ODHS and Clackamas Behavioral Health.
American Red Cross Blood Drive – 24 people attended. 20 donors and 4 staff/volunteers attended.
Creation Station – Creation Station is a twice monthly interactive program that welcomes adults with disabilities. 21 attended the 2nd Monday and 23 attended on the 4th Monday.










ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) tutoring – 8 one hour sessions (1 tutor and 1 student each). English Language class – 4 students.
Writing Group -27 people attended our writing group
Fiber Arts Circle – 58 people attended in the Fireplace Room on Tuesday and Saturday afternoons
Spanish Class – 5 people attended
Book-a-Librarian – 6 people learned Canva,Microsoft Word, Google Drive and Goggle Docs, iPhone settings and connecting computer to iPhone hotspot, resources for job skills/computer skills, and had their iPhone questions answered.
