Kids Special Programs

Harry Potter’s Birthday Party – Sandy 100 kids, 79 parents + 7 teen volunteers!  This program was a huge success.  One parent said “We have been to MANY Harry Potter e vents, and this one was the best one!”  We had wand making and food indoors, potion making outside the Community Room doors on the sidewalk; it was a good thing we did, as the green foamy potion was difficult to control, and went everywhere!

The lobby in Sandy was rearranged to accommodate the new self checkout machines! Film was applied to the skylights to dampen the glare/heat.

Visitors
Oak Lodge Community Library Advocates visited the Sandy Library to see our building, and ask questions about funding/usefulness of our building. They are preparing information for themselves regarding recently built libraryies in Clackamas County.
