Trick or Treat Trail – over 2200 kids and 3520 total people (kids + parents) visited the library for Trick or Treat Trail!

Outreach
Sandy Grade field trips – 355 kids visited the library in October to get tours, and check out books

Vista Apartments – 82 kids attended to do folk tale scavenger hunts and story challenges, create Dia de los Muertos artwork, and do pattern block and LEGO challenges.

Special
418 people came to the Haunted Library sponsosrd by the Teen Advisory Board, 145 teens came to Haunted Library planning meetings, 25 teens came to the wrap-up event.

Paint Nite – 16 teens attended.

MakerSpace – 59 teens attended (26 attended to make glow in the dark slime!)

Anime Club – 29 teens attended.

Game Factory – 8 teens attended (only had 1 week, Haunted Library planning instead)

Special
Library Coffee House – 77 people came to hear the Americana singer/songwriter Claudia Nygaard.  The Wy’East Artisans led rock painitng in the Community Room.

Using Herbs to Live Abundantly – 16 people attended this program.

Warren Easley at Hoodland

Author Talk – 15 people came to hear mystery author Warren Easley speak at the Hoodland Library.

Tell Tale Heart – 12 people came to hear Christopher Lebrick’s scary stories.

Preparing Your Garden for Winter – 8 people attended this class put on by the Master Gardeners.

Medicare with Confidence – 6 people attended at the Hooldand Library.

Ongoing
ESOL tutoring – 28 learners met with 22 tutors in 11 sessions to work on their English language skills.

Mt Hood Farmer’s Market – on our last day at the market we talked to 10 people and gave out 2 seed packets.  Wrapping up a great Market season where we talked to a total of 259 people, gave out 80 seed packets, gave out 5 new library cards, and more than 20 Summer Reading packets.

Book Club – Sandy Men’s 11 people came to discuss The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch, Hoodland 9 people came to discuss Exit West by Moshin Hamid

Public Notary – 5 documents notarized in 3 sessions at Hoodland Library.

Art exhibits
Currently at the Sandy Library on the greay ramp wall we have Book Art by Melody Bush.  Come by to see it until December 6th.
