Furniture

InfoDeskNow that the library staff has settled on the new (and improved!) spot for the Information Desk on the public floor, the Friends of the Sandy had a new desk built to our design specifictions and needs.  It’s a gorgeous addition, and functional too!  Come see it at the top of the ramp!

Technology

Pay for PrintingThe Sandy Library implemented self service pay for printing and photocopying!  This new service allows people to release their print jobs and pay for their printing and photocopying in a vending device, taking staff out of the picture as middle man.

Marketing

In January the Adult book display theme was “The Weather Outside is Frightful… Yet These Books are so Delightful”.  We had a total of 14 items checked out (even though the weather actually turned out to be delightful).
