Saturday Afternoon Kids’ Club – Sandy – 31 kids and parents , Hoodland 9 kids and parents

Wy’East Art Program – 59 kids and parents

Storytimes- Sandy Preschool 90 kids and parents, Sandy Wee Ones 125 kids and parents, Hoodland 41 kids and parents

Vista Apartments – 74 kids and parents. We have been having trouble getting kids interested in the literacy activities, so we kicked off an incentive program where the kids earn stars for each literacy activity they do. The can turn in their stars for small prizes or save them up for larger prizes. This has worked really well! Four stars were earned the first week, and by the fourth week kids were turning in stars for prizes. Staff are concerned about intrinsic vs extrinsic motivation patterns, so we will assess this program in December to see what we think.
