130 volunteers for the City of Sandy attended the volunteer picnic this year – including many library volunteers.

Men’s – 8 people discussed the 2nd half of The Mueller Report by the Department of Justice.
Hoodland – 12 people discussed Virgil Wander by Leif Enger.

Photography Group – 7 photographers showed up to share and talk about their work.

Special
Head Start at Sandy Grade 12 kids and parents, gave out 2 library cards

Ongoing
Vista Apartments – 69 kids and 7 adults attended Summer Reading programs with OSU Extension, Mad Science, Wy’East Artisans, and the end of summer reading prize giveaway party. They created a Richard Scarry Board Game as well as literacy and STEM activities, and challenge worksheets.

ESOL tutoring – 44 tutors met with 46 students on 25 days.
