Mobile Printing Send prints from your smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Once the print job is sent, it will sit in a queue waiting to be released to print. Call the library on the same day to have staff release the print job. Pick up your prints in person or through our Curbside Service.

Early literacy day (with Todos Juntos) – Monica chatted with 67 parents and kids, signed 16 up for our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program.
Ongoing
Take & Make – 80 (70 Sandy and 10 Hoodland) kids pick up mini pumpkins to decorate. Take & Make available beginning on the 15th day of the month.
Pumpkin decorating Contest – 26 of these kids returned their pumpkin for our pumpkin decorating contest! And the winners are:

STEM Club – 9 kids and 7 adults learned about composting with worms
Reading Tutoring – 16 one hour sessions of reading tutoring (1 tutor and 1 student each).
Vista Apartments – 39 kids and 11 adults attended. They made name crafts, did a recycling relay (with Clackamas County Recycling), pumpkin stacking and made puppets.

Art reception – 27 people attended the joint reception for the Damascus Fiber Arts School and the exhibit for Sandy Library’s Tide Rising

Take & Make – 100 (80 Sandy, 20 Hoodland) people picked up supplies to make TP Pumpkins.Take and Make available on the 15th of each month.
Blood drive with the American Red Cross – 54 people attended, 42 donors
Spanish Language Class – 31 people attended with one teacher
Creation Station – Creation Station is a twice monthly interactive program that welcomes adults with disabilities. 23 people attended on the 2nd Monday of the month to decorate pumpkins, 20 people attended the 4th Monday of the month to have fun with Halloween games(Maker Lab).
ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Class – 21 people attended with 1 teacher
ESOL tutor – 15 one hour sessions (1 tutor and 1 student each)
Writing Group – 11 people attended our writing group
Computer Classes – 2 person attended Computer Basics and Internet Basic classes, 4 people attended Google Drive and Google Tools class
