Mobile Printing Send prints from your smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Once the print job is sent, it will sit in a queue waiting to be released to print. Call the library on the same day to have staff release the print job. Pick up your prints in person or through our Curbside Service.
Sandy – 37 users printed 115 jobs (352 pages)
Hoodland – 27 users printed 90 jobs (206 pages)
Library Cards Sandy patrons created 13 ecards (130 cards total) Hoodland 1 (23 cards total).

Sandy – 2697 sessions. Averages 87 sessions/day (up from 84 last month) 10,413 items
Hoodland – 686 sessions. Averages 25 sessions/day (same as last month) 2521 items
We checked out a total of 12,934 items(up from last month’s 12,421) curbside pickup and browsing.
Kids Programs
Special
In coordination with Todos Juntos at Sandy, we held a very successful school supply drive! Hoodland also collected school supplies for the welches school.
Ongoing
Vista Apartments – 102 kids attended Summer Reading Programs presented by Mad Science, Creature Teacher, and a week long art camp run by Carolina Nascimento.
Sandy After School Kids’ Club – 13 kids and 9 adults made LEGO creations at LEGO Club.
Take & Make – 120 kids (100 Sandy, 20 Hoodland) picked up Super Seeds! Our Take & Make kits for kids are available on the 15th with an additional video on Facebook in case you can’t make it to the Make & Take program!
Reading Tutoring – 12 one hour sessions of reading tutoring (1 tutor and 1 student each).
Storytimes
Storytime videos were posted in our Facebook Group: Sandy and Hoodland Libraries – Storytime Parents Group. Use numbers were recorded after 1 week. All Storytimes were presented by librarian Monica Smith – unless otherwise noted.

Take and Make – 95 teens (81 Sandy, 14 Hoodland) picked up supplies to make Twinkle twine lanterns. Teen Take & Makes are available starting on the 1st of the month.
Anime Club – 17 teens attended to watch anime, make paper fans, and connect with each other.
Teen Library Advisory Board – 6 people attended to discuss upcoming programs for teens

Take & Make – 100 people (80 Sandy, 20 Hoodland) picked up supplies to make an Essential Oil Diffuser. Adult Take & Makes are available starting on the 15th of the month.
American Red Cross Blood Drive – 28 people attended, 21 units of blood collected
Writing Group – 16 people attended our twice monthly writing group
Computer Classes: Keyboard and Mouse – 1 person
Book Clubs
Women’s Book Club – 3 people brought titles that they were reading to share with the group
Men’s Book Club – 8 people discussed The Whistling Season by Ivan Doig
Hoodland Book Club – 7 people discussed Whiskey When We’re Dry by John Larison
